LA HORA DEL PLANETA 2011 (antes y despues en cada ciudad)

La gente, los gobiernos, empresas y organizaciones observaron la Hora del Planeta 2011….   134 países en todo el mundo apagaron las luces el pasado Sábado, 26 de marzo, a las 8:30 pm.

El movimiento para crear conciencia sobre el consumo de energía tomó relevancia  con el incidente de la  central nuclear japonesa, paralizada después del terremoto y el tsunami resultante allí.

The lights around Budapest’s downtown, with the oldest Hungarian bridge ‘The Chain Bridge’, and Buda Palace shine brightly before and go dim during Earth Hour.

Gotaplatsen Square and Kungsportsavenyn Street before and during Earth Hour in Gothenburg, Sweden. 

Times Square in New York observes Earth Hour…somewhat.

Rio de Janeiro’s iconic Christ the Redeemer statue is shown before and during Earth Hour in Brazil.
